On the first day of each term we celebrate, learn about and reflect on one of our Christian values. This term, our Values day was focused on our value of Community and this fits so well not just with celebrating our Year 6 pupils as they move on to secondary school but also as we start to welcome our new children into Acorn and Willow. This term it also allowed us to celebrate community across our village for the Warton carnival! Each pupil created their own flags about community and our school values which we turned into bunting to decorate the street with! On values day, each class had a different theme linked to this term’s value and within it expressed themselves through art, drama, discussion and debate.
