On the first day of each term we celebrate, learn about and reflect on one of our Christian values. This term, our Values day was on trust – the final one of our 6 values for this cycle. As part of our values day each class had a different theme, which can be found on the skills progression by clicking here. As usual, the day began with Miss Friend’s Collective Worship, where she introduced the value and as the linked bible story was David and Goliath, all children decorated their own pebble for our reflection garden on the theme of trust and what this means to them.
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God ; trust also in me.”

As we do each term, during the first class worship, each class writes their own prayer for the value we are learning about. We then combine the prayers together to create a whole school prayer that everyone has had some input into. Here is our prayer for trust.
